This image lives in the space between decay and growth. Dead pine needles rest against dark, damp earth while moisture clings to what’s left behind. Nothing here is dramatic or loud, but everything feels alive in a quieter way. It’s the kind of scene you only notice when you’re close to the ground, when you stop rushing and start looking. Not broken, not thriving, just existing in the slow process of change. This photograph is for anyone drawn to texture, depth, and the beauty found in places most people walk right past.
